Prosthetic Cat Walker

Many cats have been in natural disasters such as fires or hurricanes where they have been injured and had to have their front legs amputated. This kind of amputation often causes life-altering effects to the cat and takes away the cat’s ability to perform several everyday activities. The goal of this project is to restore some normalcy to the cat's life and allow it to participate in everyday running and playing activities again. The purpose of the device is to restore mobility to the cat. This device will have wheels and act as an attachment that can be strapped on the front of the cat using velcro. Then the cat can use its rear two legs and the wheels to push itself from place to place. This functions by having supports that hold the front part of the cat up and wheels that are attached that allow the cat to smoothly move from place to place. This type of device would need to be attached to the cat by its owner every morning and removed at night. Then the cat is able to use the d
