I could have crafted a replacement handle from wood, instead I decided to go with a 3D printed handle. Saw blade handles come in different shapes, but I went with the original general style.
Though the original handle was in plastic (unsure what kind of plastic) and broke, a strong 3D print filament would be suitable. For strength and toughness, I decided to print the replacement handle in Nylon. PETG may have worked, too, but since I had Nylon filament and wanted to avoid a repeat plastic failure, so I went for the best 3D filament I had.
