Prusa i4 Plus ... rarely anyone has such a printer, many took it apart for parts, others passed the desire to buy it, but I was once among those who carry this suitcase without a handle to this day. I even lost count of his upgrades, but I like this process, experiments and getting the planned result. And besides, I will say this: it has excellent potential, the base is strong, the rails work perfectly and each modification bears fruit, this is both experience and print quality. And despite the fact that most of the parts have already been bought for a new printer (you will see that it will be Core XY in due time), I continue to work on this, both with the mechanics, and I plan to update all the electronics and completely switch to 24V ... What changes have taken place this time ?! - The first is to minimize the weight of the table (bed) from one and a half kilograms !!! up to 365 grams net. - The support (amplifier) of the X axis was changed. It was an inevitable modification, since the installed new extruder is much smaller than the previous one ... - Well, it goes without saying - the installation of the extruder itself ...
