Prusa Printer

Prusa Printer Model designed to help a friend upgrade her Romscraj Durbie Prusa i2 printer, which plastic parts have broken up over time. Fun little side project done in a week, combining good designs observed from several printers and some ideas. Design attempts to replace more 3D printed load bearing parts for off the shelf metal machine elements while keeping cost in mind. Frame is triangular for sturdiness in transport. Power supply not designed mounted to printer as several types of 12v >15A power supplies can be used in place. Current design with Bowden Extrusion, with easier maintenance access to hotend. Alternatively, a direct extrusion set can be found off the shelf from online shops such as Aliexpress. A full metal X Gantry and Y Bed set can also be found at extra cost from online shops.
