After the rubber wore off on all my PS4 controller joysticks, I designed a replacement. Its printed with TPU.
Its a bit tight to get on, but I started on one side of the joystick and used rounded tweezers to leverage the other side onto the joystick, and then just kind of smooshed it on. If your having trouble getting it on there, it could probably stand to be sized up in a slicer program maybe 5%, and still be workable.
