After hearing the normal vertical stand blocks the side exhaust (bottom when vertical), I made these 2 feet to stand the playstaion on.
It would take quite a knock for it to fall over and after playing Killzone for hours, the console fan is no louder with no extra heat build-up than in horizontal position.
