Psyche Spacecraft Model
This is a "remix," a modification to the referenced Psyche Mission Spacecraft model that was originally posted by PsycheMission. Edits added the four science instruments (Gamma Ray Spectrometer, GRS, Neutron Spectrometer, NS, Magnetometers, MAG, Multispectral Imager, IMG) and the DSMs which comprise the electric ion propulsion system.* Also added the DSOC aperture with baffle, part of the experimental Deep Space Optical Communications system, in alignment with the High-Gain Antenna dish, HGA. Spacecraft axes are illustrated. Solar array wings attach through the body so they can be rotated.
Updated 2024 April 4 to improve rigidity of solar wing connecting strut, and slightly improved stand.
Scale is approximately 1:50.
The simplicity of the design is maintained for ease of printing on FDM 3D printers -- likely the sort you have at your facility -- with default printer settings. Each of the files can probably print with "Rafts" turned off, and "Support S
