Pullstart spacer and drill guide to build your very own Puch Maxi pullstart on a budget. I wanted a pullstart for my bike but I was too cheap to spend €200 on a kit so I decided to make my own. Aside for the reducer, high M10 nut and the pullstart I had all of the hardware already, so the full kit wound up costing me 15-20€. The pullstarter has now been on my bike for roughly 2000 kilometers and has yet to fail. Print parts in PETG or more heat resistant material.Take your existing ignition cover and drill out the top dimpled part that has the logo, I think I used a 50 or 60mm hole saw for this.Replace your flywheel nut with a 20mm high M10x1 nut (fine thread)Screw a M10x1 to M8x1.25 reducer into the high flywheel nutScrew a normal M8x1.25 stud (about 20mm-ish long) into the reducer, which is in the M10 nut.Screw the pullstart pawl onto the M7 stud.Put on the ignition cover and put the drill guide over the pawl to drill the mounting holes for the pullstartRemove the ignition cover agai
