# Puro's Base for Gridfinity
Alternate 1x1 base part for Gridfinity boxes. Prints faster and with less material. Designed for 0.8mm and 0.6mm nozzle diameter with Arachne slicer engine.
Single centered magnet (10mm x 3mm) with glue connection. Idea is to use metal sheet below grid for fast, easy and cheap "magnetic" base. Uses less magnets than standard solution.
.igs -files included!
License is CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0, like with Zack Freedmans original Gridfinity parts.
## How to use this? Existing boxes
1. Remove bottom 5mm from your existing box.
2. Insert Puro's Base below your box as new base.
## How to use this? Completely new boxes
Reference the last photo.
1. Create grid of Puro's Bases (42mm x 42mm grid). [Orange]
2. Add solid 2mm slab over the bases (total height is now 7mm). [Gray]
3. Round the cornes or the slab, 4mm radius.
4. Pull 1.2mm wide wall along the sides of the slab. Choose height in steps of 7mm. [Blue]
