This project is a hands-on wooden puzzle designed to help students visually understand the Pythagorean theorem. The board shows a right triangle with its three squares (a², b², and c²). The puzzle includes removable wooden pieces that represent unit squares, allowing learners to physically count and compare the areas of the squares on the triangle’s sides. Students can place the small square tiles inside the laser-cut outlines to discover that the combined area of the two smaller squares (a² + b²) perfectly fills the larger square (c²). This tactile, visual approach makes a classic geometry concept easier to grasp and ideal for use in math lessons, STEM activities, or maker-classrooms.All parts are laser-cut from 3mm plywood sheets. The pieces fit neatly into the engraved board, making the puzzle self-contained and easy to reuse in the classroom. Boost MeHey makers!
