Since I was always a huge fan of the Quake PC game, I decided to "learn" Solidworks and create a "Slipgate" rendition from the Quake 1 PC game. This is the first model that I've built in Solidworks and also the first real 3d printed piece I've printed, aside from the pre-loaded .gcode that came with my Monoprice Maker Select Plus.
