Hello all,
This is a horizontal quick grab phone holder stand using a rack and pinion design. I got the original idea from Arron_mollet22 and made my own design. The concept of the quick grab device he designed is impressive and I wanted to create my own version.
My design uses a similar rack and pinion idea but instead of mating pins I am using sliders. The bolted constructions adds more rigidity and durability.
Similar to Arron_mollet22's design, it utilizes an integrated spring if you want the holder to auto open when you lift the phone out.
