These 3D-printed quick-release nuts offer a practical solution for quick and effortless fastening. By tilting the nut, it can be moved effortlessly on the threaded rod. As soon as the nut is returned to the vertical position, it immediately engages the thread and can be securely tightened. There are models in sizes M4 to M10, each with or without a flange. Make sure you take a look. I was fascinated by how well the whole thing works and that it also works perfectly when printed. Take a look: PrintingThe print works without any problems with a 0.4 nozzle. However, I recommend a layer height of 0.12mm so that the threads are printed cleanly. Of course you can also choose a smaller layer height, but 0.12mm is a good compromise between quality, functionality and printing speed.
