Quick Release Model Clamp (for Stealth Press)

This is a quick release clamp design for use with the Stealth Press when using a generic style soldering iron like the one shown in the pictures. This is similar to style of the soldering irons that are supplied in some of the full parts kits for the Stealth Press Design & OperationI've created this to get around the issue of the generic holder not allowing the soldering iron to be easily placed into or taken out of the clamp without using excessive force to get the power cable through the small slot. This design replaces the holder part found in the stealth press model set. The Clamp can open up over 90 degrees and is operated easily with a quick release mechanism that securely clamps and releases the soldering iron in seconds (see the gif video in the pictures for operation) Fitment SizeThe model is for an 18mm diameter soldering iron, If other sizes would be desirable, please leave a comment and I adapt and upload some more AssemblyTo assemble, you will need 2no. 1.5mm x 30mm me
