This circuit is an R-CNC add-on to measure spindle RPM. A wiring diagram was provided to integrate with R-CNC wiring. Arduino nano and a Hall Effect sensor module was used. All stl files were designed or modified in sketchup. A magnet was inserted in a ring attached to spindle fan to enable the hall module catch the revolutions. Use armored cable attached to ground in all connections to avoid EMI on LCD and arduino and Hall Sensor. Arduino Sketch with I2C library for 1602 LCD was provided and an eagle file (brd) with printed circuit board. (pcb)
Due to a lot of EMI generated by spindle power supply cable over step motor cables and LCD, I was forced to reroute the spindle power supply cable to transit alone in a second X cable chain in opposite side.
