Rack Gear Fidget

This 3D-printed model features a basic gear mechanism designed to explore and understand the function of spur gears and a rack gear in motion. The setup includes two spur gears, with 20 and 40 teeth respectively, having circular pitches of 2cm and 4cm. The 40-tooth gear engages with a rack gear, enabling linear movement that demonstrates core principles of gear-driven mechanics. Boost Me Buy Me A Coffee Note:Nails approximately 1.1mm in diameter and 10mm long are used to secure the gears in place. Each nail is sanded after insertion into the base.
