I made a Rackett! After some searching, i found some blueprint online (https://archive.org/details/a-step-by-step-guide-of-the-construction-of-a-renaissance-rackett-manual) and was able to build a model from those in Blender. Made a few test fit prints, did a few more prints, and a dozen or so failed reeds later, i have a functional instrument!
Here is an example of it being played

As this is a wind instrument, the tolerances on the pieces that fit together needed to be tight to prevent air leakage. My printer is well calibrated, but not obsessively so. While some of the parts fit tight, they do wear down and loosen up a little bit, but this has yet to cause any tone issues with this rackett. I would recommend against filing pieces down to fit better as that might allow air to leak and will ruin the sound.
The reed for this also makes a HUGE difference on the rackett sounding like it should, not making any sound at all, or sou
