Radius Caliper add-on

Converts digital caliper (for various affordable brands, let people know via Make which ones) to Radius Caliper. With this add-on you can measure round objects beyond jaw dimensions.

The measurement is based on three tangent contact.

1) Place add-ons. Close jaws and Zero the display.
2) Press the tool between the jaws so that jaws and the body of caliper contact the surface of the object.
3) Caliper's display shows the RADIUS. Count Diameter = 2x Radius.

With this add-on a typical caliper can reach radius up to 115mm (4.5") i.e. object diameter 230mm.

Print parts vertical so that long (contact) surfaces are flat on the bed. No support needed.
