It's capable of measuring from 1 to 12 mm.What's special about this design is once you break it in, you can FLIP* it open the way you flip open ‘Front Flipper’ pocket knives. Simply slide the ruler(blade) on its corresponding pin, apply a drop of super glue to each pin, and press the other scale to align the pins with their holes.
