Later down their path of corruption, once they had already embraced the fell rites of undeath to unnaturally prolong their lives, they knew their enemies would crumble long before they did, their bloodless bodies unable to feel pain and their warp-animated carcasses capable of withstanding wounds that would have killed a dozen mortal men. As such, the production of melee weapons was one of they main focus points of the continent-wide factories that covered the Lost Legion's homeworld, Messis, and their design was adapted to better fit their style: a legionnaire's comfort and ease of use was disregarded when it came to improving functionality and efficiency.
