rail cap light base

This is a cap for use with a vinyl 4x4 wrap. I used it to replace the caps used on a Freedom vinyl rail set. The cap has a centered 1" hole to hold the plug on a solar path light that usually fits the tube mount. The top is flat. Print upside down.

A second version has a pyramid top profile. Print right side up with sparse supports + interface surface to conserve material & ease support removal. Use 25%+ cubic infill or similar. The additional support is to provide internal stability & support of the skin when sun heated. Depending on your location, this may not be sufficient to prevent distortion due to heating. Test before committing to multiple prints. It has held up to multiple high 90's days here with no problems.

Finish appropriately for outside use to provide UV protection for the filament.
