This is my version of a rain chain, inspired by the traditional Japanese sort. There are several patterns to choose from and once you have printed some of them you can start making your chain. The one nearest to the inflow should be the open version to allow the water to flow into the chain without spilling from the top. I used 15cm piece of 1.5mm wide wire. Thread the wire through and insert the 2 spacers to hold it in place. Just bend the ends to stop the wire slipping out. You can attach it to the gutter through the hole in the top
