Rain Gauge Bee Saver

Bees kept flying into our rain gauge and dying when they couldn't get back out. I guess they thought it was a flower. This simple grid is 39.5mm diameter and is a perfect fit for our gauge. It doesn't prevent water from entering the gauge and it keeps bees safe. A couple of drops of super glue hold it in place.

Any filament will do but PETG and ASA are UV resistant and may be the best options. It only took a few minutes to print on my Qidi Q1 Pro.

The STL looks like a solid disc but it's printed with no top or bottom layers, 15% infill and the infill pattern of your choice.
