*** Updated (13/10/19) tightened up tolerances for a snugger fit.

This Part is compatible with the RailBlaza StarPort commonly used in boating and kayaking.

I wanted a RailBlaza 1" RamMount ball but just couldn't find it so not sure if it even exists???

So here it is, its printed in 2 parts to avoid the need for any support material and a M6x50mm screw its threaded through holding the two parts together and also providing the strength necessary to support the loads that will be applied to it.

if no bolt was used the part would likely delaminate and fail.

The StarPost part has been designed for modular use. It would be very easy to design different parts to attache to the top of it.
