Yet another Raspberry Pi 4B case. I spent a lot of time cleaning up and printing and reprinting a few cases here. They had a lot of problems. I have a lot of scrap cases. It turns out it was faster to design this one. I made it easy to print and quick with nothing special.
This one is designed to accept a 40mm X 40 mm X 10mm 5v fan. The temp of my Pi went from 60C with idle no fan to 35C under load with the case and fan.
For printing, the fan holder and top do not require anything special. I used a slow first layer to make sure the grid sticks well for the top case. It's nice to have it clean. The fan holder is straight forward.
For the main case, you might need supports for the USB/Ethernet port holes. Depending on how well you can bridge. The hex grid shouldn't need any. For printing I choose supports, but then blocked supports for the grid sections. In Cura, I got a very clean print and the supports came off very clean.
For assembly you'll need 4 12mm
