Create your own raspberry pi Pico macropad something like this one
https://learn.adafruit.com/pico-four-key-macropad/overview
There are two versions
a rectangular one and a curved one
I find the curved one fits my hands better
the switches I used are Kailh CHOC Low Profile like these https://thepihut.com/products/kailh-choc-low-profile-red-linear-key-switches-10-pack
There is some really rough code in code.py that gives you
* 4 sets of keys each programmable (12 in total)
* leds indicating which set is active (binary counting)
* long press switches between sets of macro keys
* sends keys eg ^c
* sends strings eg hello world
* runs functions
* If the 1st long press after booting is key 4 it enters spoof mode
Spoof Mode at random intervals
* moves the mouse
* minimises then restores all windows
* messes with screen brightness
* pops and hides the Win Menu
* ...
