Tube display case for Raspberry Pi Zero.

I saw an interesting Pi case designed by Michael Klements on YouTube (link below) his design requires a laser cutter which many of us don't have access to, so I have designed this case around an off the shelf acrylic tube that can be purchased from eBay or similar.

The printable parts of the case have purposely be designed with 0 tolerance, this means you will have to cut / sand / file the parts until they slide together, this was done so the case is does not require screws or glue in its construction.

This design is not practical if you need constant access to the pins and won't work if you have a HDMI cable connected, you might be able to to connect a 90º micro usb to the board, depending on the cable it might be tight agains the tube.

For my application the Pi is running Node-RED and an MQTT broker for my home automation system and just needs 5V power, The power is supplied by a USB cable that had a connector cut off and the expos
