My latest RC kit had us assembling 8 double ended tie rods with my child. After cramping our fingers, and dealing with slipping pliers while completing 2, we figured there had to be a better way. This STL is a recreation of a lost tool which helps stabilize the ball end and allows one to apply torque and compressive pressure to the tie rod… I made it a bit smaller to fit my kid's hands (and properly lose in the RC Parts bin). It's currently sized for 6.5mm ball cup ends. It worked so well, that he finished off the rest (BY HIMSELF) within 5 minutes I can create different sizes if desired, just leave a comment below. Happy RCing! Print w/ 0.4 nozzle, adaptive cubic 60 % infill, no supports needed, blank face down. Uses ~ 2.5 g PLA
