Screw two of these brackets into your ceiling to securely mount your RC plane. There are two versions. One has a flat mounting surface, which will mount the plane's wings level. The "angled" bracket is for planes with a tall tail, tilted so the nose of your plane is angled slightly upward, and the tail slightly lower, so it doesn't hit the ceiling.
I have included
- STL files, ready to print
- Fusion files (.F3D) so you can customise the geometry in Fusion 360 to suit your plane. Just edit the dimensions/angle in the first sketch of the workflow.
I printed mine in PLA+, and use them to hang my Eclilpson Model A, Model A XL and Go 1 Wolf, all printed from lightweight PLA, and the brackets have had ample strength for my purposes. But I make no guarantee about the brackets' suitability for your plane. It's up to you to test and determine if it is suitable.
I found it prints best with tree supports. I *can* print without supports, but the print takes a lot longer, as the printer slows
