RC Plane Quick Release

This is a quick release that I put onto my rc plane that I built based on plans from Flite Test, the Kraken. I put this ontop of the plane so that I can use my fpv system, glider piggy back then take them off to decrease weight and drag. I also have one of these under each of the wing tips and use those also for bomb drops, glider piggy backs, cameras, fireworks (do not try this or do... i'm not a cop.... not my fault tho). or even rockets to get some cool effects ( again same as before).
the pods that go into this are held in by air drag mainly and by the friction tab in the front.

To finish this build:
1. a cut up piece of hanger wire as the joint (or any .09" diameter rod)
2. you may need to clean up the area for the hinge if it is to tight. Sandpaper is good for this.
