RC UMX Caddy

A 3D printable robust and durable Caddy/Stand for UMX (Micro) RC Model Aircraft sized at 240 mm X 100 mm X 120 mm (~9.5” X 4” X 4.75”). It is designed to hold a micro-size aircraft model in the shop, on a bench and at the field. The caddy secures the model while assembling, adjusting, painting and touching it up. It helps to keep the model on a table both in the shop and at the field. The parts are easily 3D printed, without any support, on a modern inexpensive mid-size 3D Printer with a build surface area of at least 250 mm X 150 mm (~9.5” X 6”). They can be printed with a variety of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and many other types of printable materials. PETG works very well for this application. It is easy to print. The object should be durable, easy to maintain, and last for a long time. PLA should work as well as long as the parts will not be used, stored or kept at in a high temperature environment, exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F).
