Decoupler for GSO RC to reduce drag on mirror cell. Usable for heavy load image train. Prevents decollimation when telescope position change.
Steps to install:
1) dissasemble back plate and remove primary mirror;
2) reset primary mirror collimation screws;
3) put centering cap;
4) put decoupler on centering cap;
5) rotate decopuler, untill You see all collimation screws through holes;
6) drill 5,5mm diameter holes for screws via decouplers screw holes;
7) remove decoupler and centering cap;
8) thread the holes for M6x1;
9) screw the decoupler with 3x M6x1 screw;
Optionally You can drill 6mm holes and use washer and nut from inside.
You can also optionally laser-cut washer for decoupler from 1mm eva foam or similar product.
10) reassemble primary mirror and back plate;
11) collimate the telescope;
