REMOVABLE RFID TAG HOLDER - RE-TAG Background RFID tags enable automatic identification of filament spools without user intervention. However, many spools don't come equipped with them. While it's possible to add RFID tags configured with the filament profile via a dedicated app, this solution has major drawbacks Limitations of Directly Attached Tags : Double equipment required: Depending on the spool's position in a multi-color system, you need to place 2 RFID tags on opposite sides to guarantee reliable identification. Excessive tag consumption: When you stock multiple identical spools (same brand, same color, same material), each one must be equipped with tags. Waste: Once the spool is empty, if it's not refillable (non-respool), it ends up in the trash... along with its RFID tags! WHY USE THE RE-TAG ? The Re-Tag is a reusable holder that revolutionizes RFID tag usage: ✅ Infinitely reusable: Insert your RFID tag once into the holder, then move it from spool to spool as needed. ✅ Flexible: Is your printer's RFID reader on the wrong side? Simply move the Re-Tag to the other side of the spool. ✅ Economical: Spool finished? Remove the Re-Tag and place it on a new spool. No waste! ✅ Eco-friendly: Drastically reduce your RFID tag consumption. WHICH TAG TO USE ? Compatible circular tags: Format: NTAG 213 or 215 Maximum diameter: 28 mm / 1.102 inch HOW TO PRINT THE RE-TAG ? ⚠️ Material Selection The material used to print the Re-Tag must have thermal resistance equal to or greater than the filament you'll attach it to, especially if you plan to dry your spools. Examples: For PLA spools → Print in PETG, ABS, or ASA For PETG spools → Print in ABS, ASA, or PC For ABS spools → Print in ASA, PC, or high-temperature materials Printing Instructions : 1.
