This reader has a cut-out around at the outside cover , around the magnetic reader. In this cut-out/opening the fingers have space. In this way it is easier to place your phone against the surface. The 3 LED's are connected to a transparant tooth shaped light transmitter which will glow when the LED is activated. At the backside a collapsable stand is placed. So for wall placement the foot can be stored inside the housing
