This is the simplest solution to capping off the terminals on your AA batteries while they're in your pocket. I go geocaching a lot and need to carry spare batteries for the GPS, but I don't want them to short out in my pocket. These caps completely isolate both ends of the battery without causing damage to the battery sides or having a loose fitting box around the batteries. Simply print two, pop your batteries in between them and wrap them together with an elastic band. It really couldn't be simpler!

The beauty of the elastic band is that when you want to get the batteries out, you just pull the caps apart and the elastic band stretches to let you remove one end cap.
