These will stop your recliner from pushing back when being sat in. Install around the back of the legs and screw to the floor. You will still be able to slide the recliner out and push back and stay at the set location.
This was designed for a lazy-boy but should be able to fit others, if needed you can scale it wider in the slicer. Opening for chair leg is 1.1" to allow enough room to slide in and out. The ones in the photo were installed with 3" decking screws.
