Refrigerator Freezer Latch

I designed this latch to solve a frustrating problem: a freezer door that kept popping open. It's a simple solution to prevent food from spoiling. This latch installs using the unused mounting holes and fasteners on the side of the door opposite the hinge. To open the freezer, simply push up on the latch. When you close the door, the latch automatically re-engages to hold it securely shut. This design has worked great for me, and I hope it provides you with the same peace of mind.
