This is a stackable storage container for small pieces of filament spat out by a printer to be collected for recycling.
The container is designed such that it will hold 1kg of filament once completely full. In the mean time, you can store three different piles in its compartments.
The calibration of the container's height takes into account the filament's density (1.24 g/cm^3 for PLA) and the inefficient stacking of random bits (chosen as 0.62). The container with subdivisions (bin.stl) should not be filled with chunks too large.
