Regent One

This is my version of the Regent's Flagship from the Star Trek Deep Space 9 episodes “Shattered Mirror” and “Emperor's New Cloak” In the real episodes, a the model of regular Klingon warship was scaled up massively to serve as a 2km Flagship for a Mirror Universe Klingon-Cardassian alliance. This is my take on what that massive ship could have looked like if the time and budget was available. I wanted it to look as if part of the ship's “flesh” had been peeled away to show muscle and sinew underneath. Felt like the kind of thing an evil Mirror Universe empire would do to their Flagship. The images are all of a painted model (I printed in green PLA) but you could easily go wild with an AMS if you wanted. There are lots of little details that really pop with a bit of paint or wash. With that in mind, the print orientation and layer height are designed to minimize layer lines that might otherwise be apparent when applying paint.
