Just another smoke alarm shutdown design. This is the second version of the remote shutdown which powers off the printer and Raspberry PI remotely along with an additional input from a smoke detector for additional safety. The smoke alarm input allows the printer to be totally powered down if the smoke detector is set off like other designs do. The circuit is finalized now and has been built and tested. Remote shutdown and smoke detector functions are working. Only a single 5VDC supply for the Raspberry PI is needed to control all functions and no code modifications are needed to the Octopi image or python scripts. Additional inputs can be added for other shutdown triggers.
