You need Department 9’s Remote Viewing Printer Filament Swatch!

Retained securely and temporarily on the X-axis gantry in the PiCam's field of view, it lets you confirm at a glance which filament is loaded in the printer. There's a swatch for every material... and a bonus STOP one, and new ones if you're using bigger reels.


BONUS FEATURE 1: put a sticker on the back of the swatch and write down the make, type and color of the filament and keep it for future reference.

BONUS FEATURE 2: There is also a big "X" to let you know something is up with the printer and it can't be used (but it doesn't get in the way if you print something).
