RENOGY Solar Panel Adjustable Mount v2

I wanted an adjustable mount for my solar panels.

It needed to be light weight, portable, easy to use for taking on camping trips

The solar panels are heavy so most designs where the angle of the leg is rotatable/adjustable has too much bending moment on it. A vertical leg is has the least load on it.

This is a remix from my earlier version. This version eliminates the bungee cord as a lock, and instead the mount itself pinches the leg. Also the single hole is angled to be in the middle of summer and winter settings

To Use:

Pinch the mount and slide to dowel up/down in the hole, to the desired panel angle.

Recommend to use PETG filament as solar panels can get hot
