Replica Stemmed Point

Stemmed point knapped by Dr. Loren Davis and scanned at the Pacific Slope Archaeology Lab (PSAL) by Alex Nyers. It was inspired by Western Stemmed points found in the Columbia Plateau which date to the late/terminal Pleistocene. Point was scanned using a David white light scanner. Original material was black obsidian. I added a slightly smoothed (meshlab laplacian 3 step) version to remove some of the noise on the surface of the artifact.
