Reservoir Planter

I wanted to model something in CAD with a helix, as it doesn't come up often. I occasionally need planters around the house.

This planter is needlessly complex but would probably look cool printed in transparent PETG. The internal component has drain holes that are contained by the external component. The drains are such that soil shouldn't easily move through, but there is ample surface area to facilitate water flow. The two pieces thread together, with a clearance of 0.2mm. No supports are necessary. I recommend trying some at a smaller scale, 50% or so, before trying larger ones.

Maybe I'll upload additional cosmetic options or other ideas later.
