This is an extension to my RF100 Fan Bracket (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2542588) which enables you to use 2 axial fans to cool the printed part.
!The RF100 Fan Bracket is needed for this part!
!Please note the little clip on the side of the housing holding the connector is not part of this design!
The fans are 12V axial fans as used for a lot of part cooling fans on 3D printers and are powered from the same feed as the extruder cooler. They can of course also be powered from a seperate 12V supply.
!! Please be aware that to much cooling can negatively impact the adhesion of the first layer to the print bed. It would be a good idea to insert a switch in the fan power feed to disable the fan while printing the first layer. (As the RF100 was not designed to use a part-cooling fan there is no output on the controller board to connect and control it easily). !!
In my case i have a little PWM controller and a switch in the feed so i can control when and how fast the fans
