This original puzzle has 10 pieces that interlock into a roughly spherical shape with rhombic facets. Each piece is the union of a small set of rhombic dodecahedrons.

It is a difficult puzzle, made somewhat easier if the pieces are printed in several colors.

There are many ways any two pieces can interlock. A vast number of shapes can be constructed with random arrangements of several pieces. But I believe there is only one way that this set can fill a [truncated cuboctahedron](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truncated_octahedron) defined by the centers of the [rhombic dodecahedrons](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhombic_dodecahedron) -- roughly a ball.
