I successfully built RKStar42's CSM and knitted about 50 socks with it.
I'm very happy with this compact machine but I missed a ribber addon. Here it is!
I used the design of JeepingJohnny's "Circular Sock Knitting Machine For My MOM and YOU! V2! With Ribber. Legare Style Machine!" from https://www.printables.com/model/355228-circular-sock-knitting-machine-for-my-mom-and-you which is an improved version of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5276234
To get it to work I needed to resize most of Johnny's ribber parts to fit my smaller machine.
This is:
- Ribber arm (to fit to the smaller diameter of the main shell)
- Ribber tappet (the axes of the 2 cams are just 2 M3 screws - the holes are small enough to drill a thread)
- Ribber stop ( I glued this with PVC glue to the main cylinder)
- Ribber Dial Adjuster ( I did not glue any of the parts on this rod but used a 2nd Ribber Shaft Collar to fixate)
- Ribber Cylinder Dial 30 (this fits to my needs so I only designed this size)
