A right angle clamp I made to assist in building model railroad houses and other scratch building. Each leg is just over 1.5 inches (40mm). The inside corner is cut back for better gluing. I used 12 magnets (3mm x 2mm) for each set. The magnets are recessed not submerged into it. TIP #1: on magnet placement: stack the magnets up, designate one end as a “north”, use a marker to “paint” that end on the top one, remove it, and “paint” the new top one, repeat all the way down. On the outside part of the clamp, glue all the “painted” ends facing out to where you see the marker. On the inside part of the clamp glue all the “painted” ends facing in to where you see the shinny side not the painted side. TIP #2: If you make multiple of these, remember magnet placement from clamp to clamp, if you want to make them interchangeable.
