Right Earcup Fix | Steelseries Arctis Pro

This is a temporary fix I designed for my Arctis Pros by Steelseries
This is a fix for the right earcup which had broken where the headband stem (for lack of the proper term) attaches into the earcup. Seems common fault with these headsets.
Using this fix means you will have to desolder the speakers from the little PCB board that is inside the cup. Unfortunately you may (like me) lose your RGB lighting in the earcup. The original earcups have some plastic to diffuse the light, which you may want to add back. This wasn't a concern for me as it was too far broken already hah.
Steps:
1) Open up your broken earcup.
2) Unscrew PCB border.
3) Make note of which wire (green or copper iirc goes to +ve and -ve)
4) Desolder the wires in a manner which leaves the PCB still connected to the wires which run through the headset stem into the rest of the headset
5) Remove the circlip, if not done already, from the headband stem.
