This is a reverse-engineered 3D full model of a standard original RigidBot. This was the first 3D printer I owned, and where I learned the craft. It is a solid unit, and worth it to me to keep running. This project is a fun CAD skill-building exercise that will allow me to pick and print replacement parts and generate mods as needed.
All original design credit goes to Michael Lundwall and his team.
The model is still a work in progress. I still need to add:
- End-Stops
- Belts
- Electronics
The extruder is my design/modification which uses the original feed mechanism with an E3D V6 hot end. I have the original extruder parts in a bag somewhere, but couldn't find them for reference.
